A photograph inside a temple sanctum where a figure with long, swept-back hair and an orange-saffron shawl over a gold-bordered garment raises a burning multi-wick aarti lamp toward a deity murti. The murti sits in a niche draped with a red garment and a multicoloured garland, with lit oil lamps on stands and brass vessels and offerings on a golden altar. Colourful flower garlands swag above the shrine and curtains of brown and red hang nearby. Several devotees stand at the right and bottom: a woman in a green sari at lower left with an arm raised, a woman in white with a red border, and men in white shirts. Smoke or incense haze fills the sanctum.
