A photograph of a large, weathered wooden statue of a multi-headed, multi-armed deity murti seated in a concrete-walled basement or storage room. The figure has a central face with two additional faces flanking it, each topped by a tall ornate crown, and several arms holding implements. Its dark brown, glossy wooden surface shows wear and chipped sections, and water droplets cling to it. Exposed electrical conduit and cables run along the ceiling, and a wooden crate sits behind the statue. No people are visible.

The statue is a murti, not a living person, and no one is physically present in the scene.2013-10-05September 04 20132013-09-04A large unpainted bronze-coloured statue of a multi-armed deity murti sits cross-legged on a stack of cinder blocks inside a workshop. The figure has several faces, many arms holding a trident, a flaming torch, a bell and other implements, and wears a beaded necklace and jewelled crown. Two smaller statues stand behind it, and a wooden support frame braces the figure. Shelves with metal containers, a brass bell and a brass lamp stand at right beside a saffron-coloured cloth. A barefoot person in a pink garment is visible at the left edge. A faded painted banner hangs on the wall above.2015-09-28September 28 20152015-09-28August 23 20152015-08-23August 23 20152015-08-23August 23 20152015-08-23
