He holds his hands together in front of a microphone stand and a silver offering bowl, eyes lowered as if chanting or speaking. Behind him stands a gilded golden structure with ornate carvings and red-and-white striped drapes, with orange flowers in the left background. The scene reads as a seated discourse or ritual address in a temple-style hall. The subject's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so no name is assigned.2010-11-09November 05 20102010-11-05October 03 20112011-10-03November 05 20102010-11-05A shaved-headed man in orange robes and an orange head wrap sits in a carved wooden chair, wearing rimless glasses, a heavy gold bead necklace with a large gold pendant, a gold bangle, and a white horizontal tilak with a red dot on the forehead. He holds a small object near his chest in one hand, with a flower or offering visible. Behind him is a blurred open courtyard and a second orange-clad person is partially visible at the right edge, with another partial figure at the left. Appearance cues are a single seated devotee-like figure with gold beads and orange robes, but the features are not distinctive enough to confirm a particular identity, so the individual is described by role and clothing only.2009-09-27March 07 20132013-03-07December 16 20102010-12-16A photograph of a shaved-headed man in saffron-orange robes seated in a carved wooden chair with a tiger-striped cushion, eyes closed in meditation with hands folded over his lap. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace and a red-and-gold mala-style neck garland, a red tilak on his forehead, and a bangle on his wrist. A microphone on a stand is in front of him, with a silver bowl of offerings, incense sticks and a small oil lamp on a stone ledge beside him. Behind him are gold-leaf carved decorations, a brass pillar, and a wall with red and white stripes. The person's appearance is consistent with a person (saffron robes, ornate gold necklace and carved throne), though identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2010-11-09
