A photograph of a shadow puppet performance projected on a white screen against a black surround. Two flat painted leather-style puppets face each other: a taller figure on the left with dark hair, a yellow-brown torso and a reddish-orange lower garment, and a shorter figure on the right with a red face, bared teeth, a striped green-and-white top and red hands. No physical people are visible; the puppeteers stay hidden behind the screen. The image shows a puppet play in progress.
