A photograph of a shadow puppet performance projected onto a backlit white cloth screen in a dark room. Two flat painted puppets face each other: a figure on the left with dark hair and an orange-brown lower garment, and a red-faced figure on the right in a striped green and white top and dark trousers, with one arm extended. The puppets are held on rods against the screen. The image shows no physical people, only the puppets and their shadows.
