A photograph of a seated initiation-style blessing indoors. A bare-chested figure with a brown and gold striped turban, long dark hair in a bun and a coral-beaded necklace has both palms on the head of a shaved-headed devotee who sits in orange cloth with a dark rudraksha-style mala. The giver's hand rests on the devotee's forehead while the devotee's palms are pressed together at the forehead. Behind them a seated attendant in white with a beaded mala and another person in white are visible, with a red curtain, a fan and a wall-mounted air conditioner in the background. The giver wears a brown and gold garment with gold ornaments at the shoulder.

Behind them a seated man in a white dhoti with gold border and rudraksha beads sits on a red mat, a standing fan and red curtains are visible, and a gold ceremonial seat edges the frame. The turbaned figure appears to be giving a blessing or energy transmission (diksha-like gesture) to a devotee. Swamiji (probable): the turbaned figure has long dark hair tied back, a turban, ornate gold-bordered brown clothing and a coral necklace, consistent with a presiding teacher role.2013-11-07November 03 20132013-11-03A photograph of a ritual exchange in an indoor hall with a cream tiled floor and red-draped curtains. A seated figure in a rust-red robe with a maroon turban trimmed in gold and a wooden rudraksha-style bead necklace places one hand on the forehead of a shaven-headed man kneeling before them. The kneeling man wears an orange saffron cloth, a dark wooden bead mala and red beaded bracelets, and his palms are raised open. Behind them, a seated attendant in white with gold-edged cloth and beads holds a white rope. Two women in saffron and white saris stand in the background, and another person sits at the right edge. The seated figure has distinctive long, swept-back hair and ceremonial gold-trimmed clothing consistent with a swami presenting a blessing, though the appearance is not certain enough to confirm identity.2013-11-04
