A central figure with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi, a saffron-orange garment and multiple gold-toned beaded necklaces walks forward, carrying a folded orange cloth in his hands and a white tray. Around him, men in white dhotis with red-bordered shawls sit or stand on orange mats; one palms together in greeting. Brass and copper plates with offerings lie on the floor. At right, a gilded golden throne with a red cushion stands on a draped orange table beside cameras on tripods. Men in white and yellow ritual dress attend.2011-01-23December 30 20092009-12-30August 09 20072007-08-09A procession inside a covered hall with a concrete floor and a mat runner. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange robe and a long red-and-white flower garland with a red bead necklace, walking beneath a multicoloured fringed canopy umbrella held on a pole by an attendant. Around him, orange-robed men with beards and long hair walk barefoot, and a white-clad attendant in a yellow shawl holds a long metal staff at left. At right, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti carries a large drum. Photographs and framed prints line the walls, and the ceiling is corrugated metal with fluorescent lights.2010-01-02 +1 copiesAugust 09 20072007-08-09December 30 20092009-12-30December 30 20072007-12-30
