A photograph of a ritual exchange inside a plain interior beside a pale stone wall. On the right, a long-haired man in an orange-red garment with a shawl over one shoulder, a tilak, layered gold beaded necklaces and an orange bead bracelet extends his hand, palm down, to a bare-chested man on the left wearing a white dhoti with a yellow border, a rudraksha mala and an orange cloth. The left man bends forward and cups his hands to receive the gesture. A floor fan stands between them, a bouquet of orange and white flowers sits on the floor at lower centre, and seated devotees in orange and red garments are visible in the background.

A bent-over devotee, bare-chested with rudraksha beads and white markings, touches or kisses the seated figure's hand as a woman in a yellow top assists and holds his hand nearby. A small bouquet of red and white flowers sits on a purple cloth in front. Behind them, a standing man in white dhoti and another in a red-orange wrap stand near a large black pedestal fan, with more people seated in the background against a stone wall. This appears to be a devotional greeting or blessing at an ashram setting. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure with long hair, gold ornaments and orange-red shawl matches the cues for the Swamiji candidate, shown in person.2017-06-23June 23 20172017-06-23A photograph of a seated ritual exchange in an ashram setting. A man with long dark hair, a white forehead mark, gold necklaces and bead bracelets, wearing a rust-red saffron-toned cloth, sits on a striped mat and extends his hand, palm up, toward a devotee. The devotee kneels in white clothing with a rudraksha mala, hands pressed together, and holds a small bouquet of red and white flowers. A black-and-yellow standing fan, a brick wall and other devotees in saffron and orange clothing stand in the background. The person seated is described as Swamiji (probable), based on the long hair, gold ornaments and saffron clothing.2017-06-23A kneeling bare-chested devotee with long curly hair and a reddish beard receives a touch to the forehead from a standing priest in saffron-red robes with gold-trimmed shoulders and heavy gold necklaces. The devotee holds one palm raised and wears a white dhoti and sacred thread. Beside them stands a figure in white dhoti with gold border holding a saffron-tipped ceremonial staff of flowers. Yellow marigolds lie on a floor mat at left, a black-and-yellow electric fan and a stone pillar are behind, and other white-clad devotees are in the background. The saffron-robed figure wears orange beaded bracelets, rudraksha-style malas and a gold necklace, indicating a person depiction cue, and is presented as a person blessing a devotee, a shaktipada-style initiation moment.2017-06-23A seated man in rust-red saffron cloth wears a thick gold necklace, rudraksha bracelets on both arms, gold earrings and a white forehead stripe, and holds his hand raised toward a kneeling man. The kneeling man has shoulder-length light hair, is bare-chested with white ash marks on his chest and shoulders, wears rudraksha malas and a green cord, and bows with his head lowered. A white-tipped cane lies across the floor between them. Behind them are a wooden door, a standing electric fan and a pink and white floor mat. The seated figure has long, swept-back dark hair and a crown-like gold throne behind him, with cues consistent with the page's a person reference, but the appearance is only partly distinctive, so identity is uncertain.2017-09-27June 23 20172017-06-23Photograph of a seated man in a red-maroon robe and heavy gold necklaces, with a white tilak on his forehead and rudraksha bracelets on his arms, placing his hand on the forehead of a kneeling man with light hair and white body markings. The kneeling man wears rudraksha malas and has white stripes painted on his bare chest and shoulders, and holds a small bundle of sticks. A red wooden door, a yellow-bladed pedestal fan and a red cushioned seat are in the background. Appearance-based cue: the seated figure has long dark hair swept back, gold ornate necklaces and a saffron-maroon robe, so he is a probable Swamiji (probable) receiving the kneeling devotee in blessing.2017-09-27September 27 20172017-09-27
