Outdoor ritual gathering on a dusty earthen ground before a red boundary wall and a green hill. On a raised white platform at right, a figure with a red turban and ornate gold and red necklaces sits on a dark seat under a multicoloured umbrella, while a standing attendant in an orange robe stands beside him. Around a small potted tree in the centre, a group of about a dozen seated devotees in white clothes sit on striped woven mats, some with a tripod-mounted camera. Other figures in orange and white stand or sit on the left and right edges. The setting suggests a public ceremonial meeting or darshan.
