Outdoor photo of a ritual at a sandy compound with a red boundary wall and a rocky hill behind. On a raised platform at right, a bare-chested man in saffron-orange cloth stands with his back to the camera, facing a seated figure under a multicoloured umbrella. Seated figures wrapped in white and saffron cloth gather near the platform. Several seated devotees in white dhotis and shirts, one with a shaved head, face the scene from the lower foreground, and a camera on a tripod is set up among them. Two standing figures in white and saffron stand at left beside a small banyan-like tree and white pillars. The seated figure's identity is not visible from appearance alone; the scene shows a formal ceremonial gathering with a visible umbrella and seated audience.
