A group of devotees sit cross-legged on striped mats in a bright hall during a puja. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts, with white sacred marks on their foreheads, sit in rows. A man in a brown patterned shirt sits in the centre with palms pressed together in prayer, and a young man in a striped green shirt nearby also holds his hands folded. Boys in casual shirts sit in the foreground beside small brass plates, bowls and offering trays. Red curtains, white chairs and a glass display cabinet holding deity figures line the back of the room, and a few people sit on chairs near the wall.
