In the blurred background, a figure in an orange robe and white turban stands among purple and yellow marigold garlands and white draped cloth. Red flower petals lie at the bottom edge. The statue, not a living person, is the main subject.

Behind it, blurred, a seated figure in orange robes and a saffron turban with a white beard sits before a backdrop of purple and yellow flower garlands. The statue is a statue, not a living person, and the seated figure is out of focus and cannot be identified, so a person is unsure. The setting suggests a temple or ashram dais with floral decoration.2010-12-19 +1 copiesA close photograph of a polished gold-coloured statue of a bare-chested sage with long swept-back hair, one palm raised in a blessing gesture and the other hand held at the chest. A human hand wearing a gold bangle reaches in from the left edge, touching the statue's raised palm. Behind, a blurred figure in saffron-orange robes and a white beard stands among purple and yellow marigold garlands, with white draped cloth and a green cloth at the right. The setting suggests a satsang or ceremonial gathering. Red flowers lie at the bottom edge.2010-12-19 +1 copiesDecember 19 20102010-12-19A photograph of an abhishekam in progress on metal deity murti. Two hands in the upper left pour liquid from a white conch-shaped vessel onto the head of a golden-bronze deity with a tall ornate crown and a rudraksha-style garland. Liquid streams down the face of the foreground figure, which has painted black eyebrows and eyes and a red mouth. Beside it stands a second, polished silver-toned deity wearing an orange-red cloth and a crown. A woman's wrist with red thread and silver bangles is visible at the left edge. No people's faces are shown, and no one is in the scene apart from the partially visible arm and hands.2011-09-19A photograph of a ritual scene indoors with a plain pale wall behind. In the foreground a figure with voluminous dark curly hair wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over the shoulder and bare chest, holding a small brass or gold ritual vessel toward a large ornate gilt metal deity murti with a crown and multiple arms, decorated with red cloth. Behind and to the left, a bald man with glasses wears orange robes and sits with hands folded, beside several shaved-headed men in orange garments seated on the floor. Gold ritual implements are visible at the lower right. The figure with curly hair has distinctive long hair and orange garb, consistent with the page's reference to a person, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2006-08-22A shaved-headed man in an orange saffron robe with a rudraksha-style bead necklace stands at left, extending his right hand to touch the crown of a small four-armed golden deity murti dressed in a green garment with a gold necklace. Behind them a red and gold altar holds other deity figures, garlands of yellow and orange flowers, a golden kalasha and brass vessels. A seated figure in yellow robes and a turban is shown as a statue or painting on the right. The scene appears to be a puja or abhishekam at a temple shrine. The man is a priest in saffron, with no visible cues to identify him.2011-10-06A photograph of an abhishekam being performed on a brass deity murti with a conical crown. A hand holds a silver vessel with a wire-wrapped pattern, pouring water over the murti's face and head. In the blurred background at right, a smiling figure with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron garment and a thick red and yellow flower garland, seated among white and red floral decorations. Orange walls frame the scene. Only the pouring hand and the seated figure are visible as people.2012-01-08A photograph of a golden statue of a smiling male figure with long swept-back hair, its face, head and upper body dusted with white powder. A man on the left wears an orange shawl over a white garment, with a gold-coloured necklace of beads and a gold bracelet on his wrist. His right hand, with a gold bangle, dusts white powder onto the statue's forehead. A stone temple wall and orange-washed background appear behind. The statue's raised left hand is open. Several people are visible only partially, and one person in orange clothing appears at the left edge. Visible ritual: powder offering on a statue. Statue of a person, not a physical person.2010-12-19 +1 copiesDecember 06 20162016-12-06December 19 20102010-12-19
