Outdoor photograph in a garden with green trees and pink flowering shrubs. In the foreground, a long-haired man with dark wavy hair, bare-shouldered and wrapped in an orange and red shawl, faces a group of people. A woman in a colourful embroidered mirror-work blouse, red-and-pink headscarf and silver earrings stands with arms wrapped in white bandages. Several boys and young people, including one in a grey top and one in a red shirt, look on. Swamiji (probable) is the long-haired figure in the orange and red shawl, shown from behind, with swept-back dark hair and orange-red drapery.

A central figure with long dark hair, a red vermilion mark on the forehead, a rudraksha mala and an orange robe stands looking upward, holding a pink cloth. Beside her a man in a white shirt and orange shawl raises a small ceremonial umbrella on a pole with an orange canopy overhead. Behind them a crowd of onlookers, including boys in shirts and jeans, a woman in a red sari and a woman in blue, watches; in the background a shirtless man bends near the ground. The central figure fits the appearance cues of the page's Swamiji candidate, with long hair, orange robe and rudraksha mala, so the identification is probable but not certain.2008-11-11Outdoor ritual scene beneath a large leafy tree.
