In the foreground, several women sit on mats with palms pressed together in namaste; one wears a red-and-gold sari, another an orange-and-blue sari, and another a white sari. A man in a white t-shirt sits beside them. Brass oil lamps (deepas) with flowers stand on the mats. Behind them, rows of seated devotees watch. On the right, a decorated altar holds a deity murti with garlands and fruit offerings, and a stepped tiered display of red-and-black figurines stands along the wall. Women in silk saris sit nearby: one in a magenta blouse and gold sari, another in red with gold bangles, and another in purple with gold border. Behind a stanchion, a woman in a green sari and an older woman in a brown sari sit in chairs, and a man stands in the background near a tripod-mounted camera. A deity murti stands on a pedestal at the back, and an orange cloth draped near the wall shows dim light.2026-02-14 +1 copies
