A photograph of a smiling man in an orange-red turban and saffron-orange garment with a bare shoulder and a heavy gold necklace, leaning forward to greet a woman with reddish-blonde hair who sits with palms pressed together in namaste, wearing a white top and a red patterned shawl with a lanyard. Behind them, several people stand in a hall, including an older woman in a cream sari with a green border and a woman in white with a red shawl, also with lanyards, and a standing fan and brass oil lamp are visible. The setting suggests a satsang gathering at the Kumbh Mela camp.

A seated figure in an orange-red turban, saffron-orange robe and a heavy gold necklace sits on a brown leather throne with gold lion-head armrests, gesturing toward a woman in a white sari with a red-and-brown shawl who smiles and joins her palms. Behind them, a man in white dhoti with a red-brown mala and a gold necklace stands near the throne, and another woman in white stands at the back. A pedestal oil lamp and a large red-and-white pedestal fan are visible, with an ornate temple-style backdrop behind. The seated figure is labelled a person by the page; the cues are the swept-back turban, saffron-orange robes and gold necklace, so the candidate is identified only by appearance and set as unsure.2015-09-11September 11 20152015-09-11 +1 copiesA photo of a ceremonial exchange indoors.
