A photograph of a ceremonial blessing at an outdoor event. A man with long dark hair tied back, wearing a rust-red shawl over a bare chest and a long beaded gold-toned necklace, raises his right hand to touch the forehead of a man in a white kurta with a red-and-white lanyard and a red sash. The recipient holds his palm up in greeting. Behind them a woman in white with a beaded necklace watches, and a woman in a red-and-gold dress with a bindi is at right. An orange fringed canopy edge is at top left, with blurred people and white draping in the background. The blessing gesture resembles a padapuja-style darshan.

A bare-chested man in orange dhoti with long swept-back hair in a bun, wearing gold ceremonial necklaces and a gold bangle, places his right hand on the forehead of a light-skinned man with short brown hair in a white shirt and orange shawl wearing a rudraksha mala. The recipient has eyes closed and head tilted down in receiving blessing. Behind them, a man in orange shawl stands and another with white tilak sits. Candidate cues: long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklaces, orange clothing; appearance-based label is Swamiji (probable) for the man giving the blessing, acting as initiator.
