February 09 20122012-02-09February 09 20122012-02-09A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron robe with gold ornaments and a gold necklace sitting on the left, his right hand raised to the forehead of a shaved-headed man in a white shirt with an orange shawl, who holds his palms together in greeting. Behind them a bald man in white with a white forehead marking sits, and another person in white with an orange shawl stands in the background. A faint wall and window appear at the top left.2013-03-01A photograph of a blessing moment indoors before a dark red curtain. A bare-chested man in orange-saffron cloth with a wrapped orange shawl, multiple gold-toned bead necklaces, a red tilak mark on his forehead and hair tied back places his hand on the head of a shaven-headed man in a white collared shirt, who has his eyes lowered and his other hand raised. A gold-toned vessel and a silver cup sit at the lower edge. Appearance cues of a swept-back hairstyle, saffron clothing and gold beads are consistent with a person, giving a head-touch blessing, while the recipient is a devotee.2012-02-09December 06 20112011-12-06A photograph of a seated man in an orange saffron garment with a gold-bordered shawl and a rudraksha mala being touched on the head by another man. The saffron-clad man places his right palm on the crown of a grey-haired man in a white shirt with navy trim and a gold bracelet, who leans forward with eyes closed. Behind them are blurred garlands in yellow, red and green and a window.2011-11-30A photograph of a ritual blessing. A bare-chested man in an orange-and-gold shawl, with a red tilak on his forehead, a short topknot, gold beaded necklaces and a gold bangle, stands at right placing his right hand on the head of a shaven-headed man in a white shirt at left, whose hands are pressed together in a gesture of receiving. A deep maroon curtain hangs behind them and a gold-coloured vessel is visible at lower centre. Their faces suggest a devotee receiving blessing from a priest.2012-02-09December 03 20112011-12-03March 05 20132013-03-05A seated figure in an orange saffron robe and a long gold bead necklace with bell-like gold pendants touches the forehead of a man in a white shirt with an orange shawl, who has his palms raised in a gesture of receiving. The seated man has long dark hair tied back and a white forehead mark. Behind them a blurred man in white dhoti and sacred thread sits with a rudraksha mala, and a woman in a pink sari stands in the background. The setting is an indoor room with white walls and a window. This is an appearance-based probable Swamiji (probable) with distinctive long swept-back hair, saffron robe and ornate gold necklace, performing a forehead blessing on a devotee.2013-03-05February 09 20122012-02-09February 25 20132013-02-25
