A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap sits cross-legged on a large white cushioned throne on an orange-draped stage, with a microphone on a stand beside him. Behind him a large banner shows a smiling man in a white turban beside Tamil text, and an overhead canopy is decorated with ring-shaped garlands of orange, green and blue lights. A white air cooler and speakers sit on the stage. The seated figure has long hair and a light-coloured ornamental necklace, which is a distinctive presentation cue for the a person candidate, so this is a person seated in discourse on the stage. The banner is printed with Tamil text and a banner-style portrait of a man in a white turban.
