A seated figure in orange and gold ceremonial clothing, with a long garland and a small book in hand, sits on a white cushioned throne before a microphone. Beside the throne is a cooler unit. Behind the stage is a large orange banner with a Tamil title and a portrait of a smiling man in a white head wrap at left, labelled with a Tamil name. The figure's appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so this is a seated speaker on a stage rather than a confirmed identification.2005-11-16November 16 20052005-11-16November 16 20052005-11-16November 16 20052005-11-16A photograph of an outdoor evening stage under an orange and white canopy with coloured ring decorations. A large banner behind shows a portrait of a smiling man in a white turban beside Tamil text. A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe and gold-toned trim sits on a white cushioned throne-like seat, holding a microphone near the chest with one hand and wearing a beaded necklace. A cooler stands at the right of the stage. The banner's printed name reads Paramahamsa Nithyananda, and the portrait is labelled in that caption. The seated figure's appearance is too uncertain to attribute, so the role is given as speaker. No other people are visible.2005-11-16
