Close photo of a temple pada puja. Several hands in the foreground hold brass vessels, one pouring liquid from a small brass cup over a brass plate and a dark flow falling onto a red-and-gold cloth below. Brass oil lamps with lit wicks stand on a silver tray, with a brass kalasha-style pot, red flower petals, and a strand of beads nearby. Behind them, blurred people in orange and saffron clothing, one wearing a dark wristwatch, sit at the ritual. The scene is lit by lamps and candles.
