Aerial view of a large Kumbh Mela encampment beside a river, with rows of canvas tents in beige, grey and dark tones, many roofed with blue tarpaulins. Red tractors and parked white vans and cars sit among the tents, and a multi-span steel railway bridge on brick piers crosses the top of the frame. Crowds of pilgrims fill the distant ground, and orange and red flags and banners mark the camp. A few small figures are visible between the tents.
