The central figure is a four-armed Shiva-like form in a red turban and ornate gold and jewelled necklaces, holding a trident and damaru, seated beside a goddess in pink and red sari with white jasmine garlands and red flower garlands. Flanking figures stand on either side: one in blue dhoti with a blue-and-gold headdress and beaded necklace, another in orange-red dhoti with a rudraksha-style mala. Brass oil lamps stand on both sides, and a small figure of a seated deity with a shivalinga-like object is in the front. The male figure wears an orange turban, rudraksha-style necklaces and holds a trident and drum-like object; the female figure wears a green-and-white sari, gold jewellery and a crown. Both are garlanded with red and white flower strings. In front is a kalasha-like shivalinga-style offering with a red garland and an ornate pedestal. Flanking the arch are two standing attendant statues in orange and maroon clothing with beaded vests. The scene reads as a temple deity display during padapuja.2014-09-16February 18 20162016-02-18May 22 20182018-05-22 +1 copiesSeptember 18 20162016-09-18February 18 20162016-02-18 +1 copiesA photograph of a shrine niche with a gilded arched frame and magenta backdrop holding a large deity murti of Shiva and Parvati seated together, the male figure with a tall orange turban and trident, the female with a crown and dark hair; both are garlanded with red and white flowers and gold jewellery.
