Photograph of a tall copper flagstaff rising from an ornate bronze-coloured base wrapped with white flower garlands, set on a raised platform under an open metal roof with coconut palms and cloudy sky behind. A devotee in orange-red robes and a shawl stands at the right, gripping the rope that hauls the flag up the pole while looking upward. Several onlookers in white and red stand at the lower left, and another attendant in orange is partly visible at the right edge. This appears to be a flag-hoisting ceremony.
