Many people walk in white and cream clothing, with women in saris and men in white shirts and dhotis. Several devotees carry tall orange-red flags with a blue emblem, and a row of decorated ceremonial parasols with gold and blue fringed panels is held aloft. Some participants wear yellow scarves, orange sarees and red blouses, and others carry white fans.
