A large outdoor gathering of schoolchildren and adults seated on a red-and-cream patterned carpet under a canopy hung with red and yellow draped fabric. Many children in matching light-blue school shirts sit with palms pressed together, while women in teal, blue and maroon saris sit on red plastic chairs at the sides. A man in a white shirt holds a small hand drum, and a cameraman in a white shirt films from the right. A tabla-style drum lies in the foreground. No single identifiable a person figure is clearly visible on the stage, so the children's day celebration is shown without a confirmed presence.
