Two silhouetted figures stand in a doorway of an open-sided hall with a thatched roof, backlit so their features are dark. Both wear plain light-coloured garments and each holds a dark rectangular object at waist height. Outside, sandy ground, a row of trees and a small figure in white are partially visible through the glass doors, and a colourful striped cloth hangs on the left.

July 28 20082008-07-28May 13 20082008-05-13A photograph taken from inside a dim hall looking out through a doorway into a bright courtyard. Several silhouetted figures stand in the foreground, including a tall person in a long dark garment and a figure in red-orange robes at right. Two large umbrella-like canopies with dark fringed tops and orange-red borders are held aloft, and a red-and-orange decorated banner or flag hangs at left. Men in white dhoti-style garments stand outside in the sunlight, some holding the canopies. A red carpet runs across the floor toward the entrance. The scene is dark overall with a corrugated metal roof visible above.2012-04-24October 07 20062006-10-07Dim interior photograph looking through a red-framed doorway toward a sunlit courtyard. In the foreground, silhouetted people stand in a room: a figure in white kurta with an orange shawl on the left reaches toward the doorframe, a person in a dark checked shirt raises an arm in the centre, and a man in white with an orange cloth at the waist and a thin orange cord stands on the right. Partially visible figures appear at the left and far right edges. Behind the doorway are green steps, stacked cardboard boxes, a blue plastic crate, and hanging white cloth on a rack. Nothing in the image identifies a particular individual.2008-07-28October 06 20062006-10-06A photograph of an interior room with bare grey walls and a concrete floor, lit by daylight from an open doorway. A tall figure with long dark hair, wearing a flowing orange-saffron robe, walks through the room in silhouette, facing left. Behind in the doorway, two more people in orange robes stand outside against green trees, one with a shaved head. A draped green cloth covers a piece of furniture on the right, and an electrical box and a small appliance sit on the left wall. The scene resembles a sannyasi walking through a newly built ashram room with two companions.2009-08-03Outdoors beside a whitewashed wall with red vertical stripes, a man in a white dhoti and white shirt with an orange shawl carries a silver tray holding offerings with both hands. Beside him, a monk in saffron-orange robes holds a second tray with covered metal dishes and a glass bowl, looking down. At the left edge, a person in white with a yellow shawl holds a wooden staff under a red and white fringed canopy. A yellow signboard and a purple sign with Kannada script hang on the wall, and the ground is bare with small plants.2008-05-13July 17 20082008-07-17December 12 20062006-12-12February 18 20162016-02-18 +1 copiesAugust 03 20092009-08-03
