A photograph of a man in white clothes with an orange shawl draped over his shoulder, performing an aarti with a bright flame in front of a wall niche decorated with purple flowers and a garland. Inside the niche, a framed deity picture with a white-and-red flower garland hangs above a small offering of flowers and a lamp on the floor. Two other framed religious pictures are also in the niche. The man's face is not visible, so no identity is given; only a priest or devotee performing puja is described.

A photograph of a shaved-headed? no: a man with dark hair, wearing a white kurta and white dhoti with an orange shawl over his shoulder, stands bent forward and waves a flame toward a framed image of a deity or portrait garlanded with white jasmine and red flowers. The shrine is set into a wall with purple and green foliage draped across the shelves and additional framed pictures of saffron-clad figures beside it. Below, two brass oil lamps burn on a patterned floor next to a covered pedestal topped with flowers, and a steel bowl of petals sits in front.
