A photograph taken under a green and pink canopy strung with multicoloured triangular pennants, with banana plants and bunches of green bananas at the left edge. A group of about ten men in white shirts and white dhotis stand facing a person at right who wears a long orange sari-style garment and has long dark hair; this figure is facing the men and gesturing with an open hand. Several men wear spectacles, and one in a light blue shirt stands at left. The setting appears to be an outdoor open-air gathering. A person in orange with long swept-back hair is visible and shows distinctive orange clothing, but the figure's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so the a person field is set to unsure.
