A large crowd of devotees in orange and saffron clothing gathers on rocky banks beside a fast-flowing mountain river, with tall conifer trees rising up the slope behind them. A woman in an orange shawl stands with her arm raised on a boulder at centre, while others in white and orange cluster on nearby rocks and wade at the water's edge. A bare-chested man in orange dhoti crouches in the shallows at lower right. A man in a white kurta and orange turban stands at left, and sunlight flares through the trees. The scene appears to be a Himalayan pilgrimage stop near Gangotri.

Outdoor photo in a forest of tall conifers on a hillside. A figure in orange-red robes and a long rudraksha mala swirls a large saffron cloth overhead with both hands, with long dark hair flying, as a centre of attention. Beside him an elderly white-bearded man in a red-orange turban and red robe, with a long rudraksha mala, looks on with hands near his chest. Around them devotees in orange and saffron garments, white dresses and a woman in white with a long braid gather on a rocky, pine-covered slope. One man in orange holds a camera. The scene suggests a group outing or yatra gathering in the Himalayas.
