A village street lined with palm trees, leafy trees, utility poles and power lines, with a small orange-roofed house on the left. Three people walk along the dusty road: a girl in a pink top and blue trousers in the left foreground, a man in a white shirt and dark trousers, and an elderly woman in a white sari carrying a bag. On the right, a tall orange poster on a pole shows a figure with a saffron head wrap, rudraksha beads and a gold necklace, with Tamil text reading Dhyana Satsangam, a meditation gathering. Two bicycles are parked by a wall. The scene is a Tamil Nadu neighbourhood with a banner advertising the event.

Two tall vertical street banners hang from a utility pole; the nearer banner shows a saffron-clad figure with a wrapped orange head covering and raised hand against a glowing orange background, with Tamil lettering reading 'தியான சத்சங்கம்' (Dhyana Satsangam, meditation satsang). A second, smaller banner with a similar figure hangs further along. Men stand and ride motorbikes and a three-wheeler along the road under hazy skies and overhead wires. Only the banner figures are depicted; the depicted figure appears as a person depiction on a banner.2006-11-25November 25 20062006-11-25January 12 20072007-01-12A street photograph in a small Tamil Nadu town showing a roadside lined with palm trees and low shop buildings.
