A photograph of a crowded riverbank at the Triveni Sangam confluence near Allahabad, with a large mass of people in white and light clothing gathered at the water's edge under a hazy winter sky. Many figures wear white and pale shawls and some appear to be seated or standing close together on the shore, with a wide expanse of water beyond them.
