A photograph of a blessing moment indoors in a white-walled room with a carved wooden door at upper right. A figure in a rust-orange wrap with a long dark ponytail, bare-shouldered, with multiple rudraksha malas and a gold-toned ornamental necklace, places a hand on the head of a man in a white shirt who bows forward holding a small green-and-yellow booklet. Several shaven-headed men in white dhotis and orange cloth, and other men in shirts with white vibhuti on their foreheads, stand close around. The figure appears to be a person by these cues: long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold necklace, in a role of blessing a devotee.2014-06-24June 26 20142014-06-26A bald, light-skinned man in a white kurta stands with bowed head while a long-haired person in a red-orange sash and dense beaded garlands places a hand on his scalp and holds a sheet of paper. The person wears rudraksha-style beads, bangles and a red bindi, with a pale-yellow garment beneath the sash. Beside them a man in a white shirt with a black beaded necklace stands with hands folded. A man in saffron clothing and another in white stand nearby, and a tray of small items sits at lower right. Behind them hang framed portraits on a cream wall, and a projector screen and red curtain fill the background.2012-04-05 +2 copiesJune 22 20122012-06-22 +1 copiesA photograph inside an ashram hall during a ritual blessing.
