February 25 20112011-02-25 +1 copiesA photograph of a devotional blessing at an indoor event. A man in a saffron-orange robe with a long rudraksha mala and a gold-toned necklace stands center, smiling, with his palm raised above the head of a young man in a blue shirt who has his hands pressed together in namaskar. Beside him, a bare-headed priest in an orange-and-gold shawl with a red tilak and gold necklace stands near the line. An older man in white on the left also folds his hands in prayer. Several other people in white and light clothing stand in the background, with a yellow-and-blue banner visible at the top. The central figure has long swept-back hair and distinctive saffron robes and mala, consistent with Swamiji (probable) performing a blessing as a sannyasi.2011-02-28 +1 copiesA man in an orange-red dhoti-style wrap with a decorative border and a long gold bead necklace of large golden rudraksha-style beads stands at right, long dark hair swept back, a small vertical mark on his forehead, one hand resting on the head of a kneeling devotee. The kneeling man in white with folded hands and bowed head receives the blessing. Behind them a man in white clothes watches, and a bald man in white with a white forehead mark stands at far right.
