Outdoors under bright sky and tall coconut palms, a white flagpole rises at left while a person in a red turban and orange-brown clothing pulls a yellow rope to hoist a flag. A strand of small red and white pennants stretches across the scene. At right, a devotee with hands pressed together in namaskar wears white, and an orange cloth and a colourful decorated object appear at the edge. Other people stand near the pole in the background.
