A man in an orange saffron robe, orange turban and a long garland of white and orange flowers raises his right hand while pulling a rope that lifts an orange cloth up a tall white pole. Above him a large red, yellow and green canopy with tassels shelters the scene. Around him, men in white kurta and dhoti with yellow shawls stand, one holding a brass vessel and a plate of flowers. Marigold and petal rangoli designs lie on the ground at the base of the pole, and a banana plant and a building draped in marigold garlands are visible behind.2010-02-18
