Foreground, a woman in a white and beige patterned sari holds a lit lamp in front of her; beside her, a woman in a maroon sari with a gold border and a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged with a brass lamp in hand. Behind them, women in saffron-orange and rust-coloured robes hold lamps and incense dishes, many wearing rudraksha malas and orange shawls. Scattered flower petals, small brass vessels and oil lamps cover the floor. Several people in the back rows wear white headbands. Readable text in the bottom corner reads Nithyananda Paramashivam, and the image is a people photograph of a devotional lamp-offering ritual.2014-04-04December 31 20182018-12-31December 31 20182018-12-31
