A photograph of a street procession in a small town. At centre, a large silver-and-gold deity murti of Venkateshwara-form idols is carried on a palanquin, adorned with garlands in pink, green, yellow and red, beneath a decorated canopy. Men in saffron-orange shawls and orange caps carry and surround the palanquin; a man on the right holds a long fan-like whisk. Shopfronts and onlookers line the street, and a camera operator films at right. A sign on the left reads a Hindi welcome phrase.
