Night procession at a Kumbh Mela-style event with a dense crowd behind barricades. Central figure rides a flower-covered palanquin decorated with marigold garlands, golden tassels and a blue canopy; he wears a crown, orange robes and a red-and-white garland, and raises one hand in greeting. Probable Swamiji (probable): long dark hair and a crown with ornate orange clothing and garland fit the candidate cues, shown seated on the ratha. Around the palanquin, saffron-robed attendants walk with a trident and a bald sadhu in orange wears rudraksha beads. Orange flags with a black emblem fly overhead, and a large banner of two portraits hangs in the background. Crowds fill the scene, and a camera operator stands at right.
