The central figure wears a crown, white silk and a jewelled necklace, while the flanking figures wear crowns and gold ornaments. Two priests stand before the shrine: the left priest is bare-chested in a gold-bordered cloth with a green-and-gold headpiece and gold armbands, holding a garland; the right priest wears a gold turban, a dark brown-and-gold cloth and white dhoti, holding flower garlands. Green silk drapes the altar and a brass lamp stands at the right edge, consistent with a deity garlanding or puja.2015-10-18A photograph of a temple ritual before three decorated deity murtis, each draped with flower garlands and gold jewellery, with a green cloth backdrop. In the foreground, a bare-chested priest in a white dhoti with a red border and a gold-coloured shawl stands behind a seated figure in a white dhoti, who has a green cap or headwear and bends forward. The standing priest holds up a long garland of white and yellow flowers over the seated figure's head, and a brass lamp stand and ornate gold throne-like seat are visible at the lower left and bottom. Tall brass lamps and gold-framed metalwork decorate the sides of the shrine.2015-10-18October 18 20152015-10-18A photograph of a ceremonial wedding-style ritual in a decorated hall. On the left, a bare-chested priest with a blue and gold wrap and a purple turban gestures with both hands while speaking. Beside him, a bare-chested man in a purple and gold shawl stands with palms pressed together. Seated in the centre, a man in white dhoti wears a green embroidered crown-like headpiece and garlands of white and red flowers. At the right, another seated man in a gold turban and white garlands sits close by. Behind them stand a large decorated deity murti draped in flower garlands, a brass kalasha-style lamp, and green and purple cloth. The event is consistent with a Meenakshi Thirukalyanam ceremony.2015-10-18October 18 20152015-10-18February 02 20162016-02-02October 18 20152015-10-18April 27 20182018-04-27 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20162016-02-19
