In the foreground, boys sit cross-legged on orange and patterned mats: one in a grey t-shirt with a red tilak on his forehead, one in a yellow t-shirt wearing a dark bead mala, and one in a red shirt with gold bangles. Behind them, several adults in white dhoti-style clothing with red-bordered cloths and rudraksha malas sit with eyes closed or gazing forward, some with shaved heads. Brass plates, a small brass lamp and yellow flowers sit on the floor before them, along with a pink tray and clear plastic containers. A saffron-robed figure sits at the left edge. No one is identifiable as a person by appearance cues, so the candidate is left unresolved.2011-02-20September 2006 - Sindhanur flood relief
