A gilded deity murti of Vishnu (Perumal) stands in an ornate alcove framed by pink-red draped cloth and a green-and-gold bordered silk cloth. The murti wears an elaborate peacock-shaped crown with jewelled tiers, a Vaishnava urdhva pundra tilak, and heavy jewellery with green and red stones, a long garland of gold coin-like pendants, and a silver-and-gold waist adornment. It holds a brass kamandalu-style pot in one hand and a brass lamp in the other. A white conch shell rests on the base below, flanked by brass bowls and dark stones.
