A photograph of a devotional ritual indoors among potted green plants. On the left, a woman in a rust-red headwrap and orange-red clothing holds up a sheet of white paper. In the centre, a man with a moustache, wearing white ritual clothes, a rudraksha mala and a gold bangle, kneels and receives an offering from a woman in a white sari with a shawl, who is wearing a gold bangle and necklace. Behind them, women in white and orange-saffron garments with beaded malas stand with hands joined in prayer. Brass items, fruit including apples and a gold-coloured tray sit in the foreground beside the kneeling pair.
