A photo of a crowd of pilgrims on a rocky, grassy high-altitude plain, many with hands pressed together in anjali mudra. Most wear orange-red scarves; they wear jackets, fleece, sun hats and caps in blue, purple, pink and white. In the centre, a man in an orange robe kneels or sits beside a gold-framed object, with a person in a dark grey jacket standing nearby. A small cairn of stones lies in the foreground. The scene suggests a pilgrimage gathering on a mountain route, with the robed figure a person in an orange robe near a gold-framed object, though his face is not visible enough to confirm identity.

A man in an orange padded jacket, grey knit cap and dark sunglasses sits on a gold-framed seat with a trident-like staff behind him, facing a crowd of seated devotees in winter jackets, hats and orange shawls. Several people wear red, blue, green and black puffer coats; one wears a bright orange knitted headband and a white cap. Stone wall and rocky slope behind. The orange-jacketed man in the seat is an appearance-based candidate for a person but not clearly identifiable, so the identity is marked unsure. Counted: roughly fifteen visible people.2012-08-08Group photograph of about fourteen people posed outdoors on grassy, stony high-altitude terrain with rugged brown mountains and a snow-capped peak behind them.
