In the foreground, many men in white shirts and white dhotis walk closely together, several with white vibhuti and kumkum marks on their foreheads and some wearing ID lanyards. A woman with a red bindi and white forehead marks stands at the lower left. The group moves past a low orange wall and palm trees.

A golden ornamental arch frames a deity murti or decorated figure at the back, draped in garlands and bright fabric. Many men in white dhotis and white shirts move around the open sandy-earth ground, some standing, some bending near a small stone pillar and a dark pedestal with pink-red cloth offerings in the foreground. A small side shelter stands at right. No one among them is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance cues, so the figures are described by role only. Approximately twenty physical people are visible across the scene, many partially obscured by trees and each other.2016-02-27 +1 copiesA photograph of a procession on a shaded dirt path beneath large trees.
