Seated on the steps at left are about a dozen devotees in white clothes, several with folded hands and watching the ritual. In the centre, a priest in saffron-orange robes sits on a white mat beside brass offerings and a small fire or lamp, with other saffron-clad attendants nearby. Orange and yellow bunting decorates the arena, and a red brick building stands behind.
