Dense crowd of devotees fills a festival lane during a procession, viewed from an elevated angle. Many people in white and saffron clothing, some with red and orange flags held aloft, and two green patterned umbrellas shade a palanquin-like float at centre. The float carries an ornate golden structure with a seated figure under it, surrounded by attendants in white. Many people on the left appear covered in grey-white powder. Tall bamboo poles, orange pennants, tents and a flowering tree frame the scene.
