A tall brown wooden pole rises against a pale sky, crowned with many small colourful pinwheels fixed on thin red rods. The pinwheels are striped in green, white, red, yellow and black, backlit by bright sunlight that shines through the spinning vanes near the top. No people are visible; the image shows only the decorated pole and its pinwheels.

Outdoor photo of a tall decorative tree-like structure with a straw-wrapped trunk and many spinning pinwheels of red, white and green paper attached on branch rods against a hazy grey sky. Power lines and poles run across the top, and a wooden lookout tower stands at right beside a tarpaulin-covered tent. Several small figures in colourful clothing walk on the dusty ground near the base, and a tractor-trailer is visible at lower left.

Four male performers in matching red kurta-style tunics and yellow dhoti-style trousers perform a folk percussion dance on a dirt ground in front of a bamboo grove and red wall. Each plays small hand cymbals or a handheld cymbal pair with flashing motion, while the man at right holds a round frame drum. Their bare feet and metal anklets emphasise the rhythmic stepping. The dancers are caught mid-movement, arms extended. Bamboo fronds fill the background.

Outdoor photo on a dirt ground in front of a blue and white patterned tent backdrop with banana leaves. A performer in a large black masked costume with white tusk-like teeth, a tall orange and white flower-garlanded headdress, and a stylised face with a vertical white marking stands with arms outstretched, holding yellow-green leafy staffs. Beside him a man with a red turban, white sleeveless top, orange and yellow cloth draped over his shoulders and red-orange dhoti, and ankle bells, stands with hands at his sides. An older man in white shirt and dhoti stands in the background at left. The scene resembles a folk-style procession or street performance.

Low-angle photo of an outdoor flagpole ritual. A tall carved wooden dhwaja stambha, wrapped with rope-like bands and topped with a small orange flag, rises against a partly cloudy blue sky with palm fronds at the right. A man in a flowing saffron-orange robe and a rudraksha mala stands at the base, holding the orange rope that runs up the pole. A second figure in orange-red cloth stands at the right edge, partly cropped. A carved figure is visible on the pole's base. A metal roof edge crosses the upper left corner.

Outdoor festival procession in bright daylight. A large decorated palanquin or float covered in red, yellow, green and white flower garlands and marigold strings hangs above the crowd, with a red cloth banner trimmed in white at right. Men in saffron-yellow and orange kurtas with green lower cloths and white turbans play large hand drums and cymbals. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts walk among them, and a man in a yellow shirt holds a drum mid-procession. Colourful striped umbrellas with fringed edges and red-and-blue emblems shade the route. Devotees crowd behind, with women in yellow and white saris at right. The scene reads as a temple or ashram chariot procession.

Photograph of an annadan meal service under a striped red, green and yellow draped canopy. Rows of villagers sit at long blue tables eating from leaf plates with rice, bananas and a mound of sweet food. A woman in white with an orange shawl carries a steel bucket and serves the food, with another server in white behind her. Men and boys sit on blue and red plastic chairs at the back. Red-clad women and children wait to eat in the foreground.

A photograph of a hanging stack of three terracotta pots decorated with yellow and maroon painted dots, bound together with green satin ribbons. Cotton wool sits at the top, and a small bell wrapped in pink foil hangs from the bottom on wire. The background is blurred bare branches against a pale sky. No people or a person appear in the image.

Overhead view of a decorated ceremonial hall ceiling hung with many colourful umbrella-shaped ornaments in blue, red, orange, green, purple and pink. Each umbrella has a painted or embroidered rim, and long cylindrical streamers with floral and bird motifs hang beneath them. Strands of smaller lanterns and white fabric draping fill the ceiling, lit by bright lights. No people are visible in the scene, and no a person candidate is present.
