Hundreds of people sit in rows, many men wearing white dhotis and white kurtas with pink or red turbans, and some women in white or red saris. At right, a group of drummers in pink turbans and colourful traditional clothing play dhol drums, while a man in an orange shawl and ceremonial dress stands among them. A red brick wall, trees and a construction vehicle form the background. A large black ceremonial drum stands at the right edge.2017-12-16Five young male ascetic drummers in saffron-orange dhoti and shawls with red borders stand outdoors on a dirt ground in front of a low white wall with red pillars and green trees. Each wears rudraksha malas and white and red forehead markings. Several play barrel-shaped drums slung from white straps, one drummer strikes a small hand cymbal, and the man at right stands with his hands folded near his mouth. Dry leaves lie on the ground and a stone pile sits behind the wall.2014-08-31Photo 11708423 +1 copiesMarch 01 20162016-03-01 +1 copiesDecember 16 20172017-12-16January 01 20112011-01-01December 16 20172017-12-16December 22 20102010-12-22January 01 20082008-01-01Outdoor procession on a dusty open ground. In the foreground, a man in a yellow jacket and blue trousers stands at left, and a performer in red and gold robes with a tall white and red headdress holds his hand near his face. Bare-chested drummers in white turbans and gold-trimmed harnesses play large drums with yellow cloth draped over them, marching in a line. Behind them, decorated umbrella-like standards in red, white and blue rise above the crowd. Many people in white clothing line the route, and a white van and a tree line are visible at left. Roughly twenty or more people are visible.2011-01-01
