A seated group of roughly two dozen devotees, mostly women, sits on the floor of a hall during a ritual. Many wear saffron-orange sarees with gold borders and rudraksha malas, and several have white and red tilak marks on their foreheads. Some hold small oil lamps and offering trays with flowers, fruit and sweets, while others sit with hands folded in prayer. A woman in white near the centre holds a lamp, and a few women in white saris and white tops sit among them. Red folded cloth stacks and chairs are visible at the back of the room, and a plastic water bottle and small brass vessels sit on the floor in front.
