In the foreground a man in white ceremonial clothes and a rudraksha mala holds a long wooden pole of a decorated umbrella (chatra) with a red, yellow and orange floral-patterned canopy. Behind him, men in white dhotis carry similar umbrellas, one green and red, and a trident-topped standard is visible. Several sannyasis in saffron/orange robes walk in the procession; one wears a yellow-orange garland and holds flowers, another wears a long white floral garland. A man in white carries a metal vessel with offerings on the right. Women in white and orange saris and a few onlookers stand at left beside a thatched structure and flowering plants.2008-12-25December 29 20082008-12-29December 28 20082008-12-28January 12 20172017-01-12Photo 11690957
